The Corporation has ear marked seats in buses for ladies, physically challenged, MLAs/MPs, Senior Citizens, Presidents of Mandal Parishads & ZPTC members etc. The layout diagrams of each type of bus are shown here.

MLAs/MPs

4 seats in all types of buses.

Ladies

40% seating accommodation i.e. reserved for exclusive use by ladies in all city, Pallevelugu & Express services.
City: 40 % seats in the front rows behind the driver's cabin.
Pallevelugu: 1st to 7th row seats behind the driver's cabin (21 seats).
Express: 1st to 7th row seats behind the driver's cabin (21 seats).
Deluxe: 1st to 2nd row seats behind the driver's cabin (4 seats).
Super Luxury: 1 st to 2nd row seats behind the driver's cabin (4 seats).

Physically Challenged

One seat at the left side row of the front entrance door in case of city services.
One seat on the left side first row is reserved for the physically challenged persons.

Senior Citizens

Left side two seater row behind the seat allotted to physically challenged persons in all types of buses.

Presidents of Mandals / ZPTCs of Mandals

If the four ear-marked for exclusive use by MLAs/MPs fall vacant, these seats will be allotted to presidents of Mandals / ZPTC members on second preference basis.

Types of Coaches of TGSRTC

Garuda Plus (Multi Axle AC)

To provide smooth comfortable riding and faster journey to the passengers of interstate and Intra state, TGSRTC introduced Multi Axle AC buses of Volvo , Scania and Mercedes Benz make under brand name of 'GARUDA PLUS'.

Rajadhani AC Buses

To provide a comfortable AC buses at affordable fare, TGSRTC introduced 12 m AC buses under brand name 'Rajadhani' with an intermediary fare between Super Luxury and Garuda plus.

City Services

Electric Buses

The following facilities are available in Electric Buses and specially operated to RGI Airport.

Metro Deluxe coach for twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad

Metro Deluxe Coaches with better features like attractive colour scheme, seat comfort, wider windows etc., are introduced in place of Metro liners for the benefit of long distance city commuters.

The Salient Features

Seats are improved to provide better comfort to the passengers.
Bigger windows are developed keeping in view of the passengers' preference for better scenic coverage.
In view of the increase in size of the window, the passengers may get exposed to sunlight. Hence, smoke grey tinted glasses are provided.
Interiors of the bus, i.e., ceiling, are provided in PVC coated aluminum sheets to improve aesthetics and eliminate repeated painting.
Decorative beadings are given to add to the aesthetics of the interiors.
Side finishers are provided with FRP for better appearance and durability.
Full-length saloon lighting with a special grill is developed to improve lighting. One tube light in each bay is provided with a continuous grill of 10" width.
The additional destination board at the entrance facilitates the passenger to know the route and destination before boarding the bus.
PU paints developed by M/s ICI Ltd., are used on this bus, which give better finish and gloss compared to SE paints.
A new color scheme is developed and adopted.
Special provisioning is given in the new Metro-Express buses to display advertisements inside the bus above the windows at the curved portion of the roof.
Chequered plywood flooring is provided with 2 mm vinyl overlay for better passenger feel and lesser noise.
More assist rails are provided in the bus for the convenience of standing passengers.
FM radio with PAS is provided in all the buses as FM radio is popular among city commuters.
